Hand Polish & Wax — after your exterior clean
Hand Polish & Wax is an optional finishing treatment for a vehicle that has already had a thorough exterior clean. It is not a standalone wash or valet. Once the paintwork is clean and dry, suitable road tar and remaining surface deposits are dealt with where safe and appropriate, before a hand-applied polish and a protective wax finish.
Preparing the paintwork
Working on a properly cleaned surface is important: polishing over road grime or bonded residues can spoil the finish.
- Book this add-on with an exterior clean, such as the Standard Valet, Premium Valet or Exterior Valet.
- The exterior is washed and thoroughly dried before the additional treatment begins.
- Road tar spots and suitable surface residues are addressed where appropriate for the paintwork; more extensive decontamination can be discussed separately if required.
Hand polish and protective wax
The finishing stage is designed to improve appearance and provide a layer of protection, rather than carry out machine paint correction.
- Hand-applied polish worked over suitable paintwork to enhance visible shine and gloss.
- Protective wax applied after polishing to help maintain the refreshed finish.
- Final inspection and wipe-down of treated areas for a tidy finish.
Is this right for my car?

Important to know
Add-on only: an exterior clean is required first. Hand polishing is not the same as machine paint correction, and deep scratches, damaged clear coat and heavy bonded contamination may need a different treatment.
